| In this paper, the traffic volume and its constitute on the main routes in 1-Iandan district were investigated and analyzed. Using HDS- II culvert auto axle load meter, the axle loads on heavy load routes were tested, and the axle load distribution model was obtained. At the same time, the asphalt pavement mechanics characteristics under heavy load effect were analyzed, and the non-linear property of pavement structure material was studied. Effect of heavy load traffic on asphalt pavement surface deflection and flexure stress under base course, and the equivalent conversion method was researched. Using HDS- I movable axle load meter, vehicles?velocity and their moving axle load were investigated. This paper also analyzed pavement irregular and its effects on pavement mechanics computing. Shortness of the experience method was conquered, this paper put forward heavy load asphalt pavement design method and its using condition. The axle weight limit was also put forward.
