in the cooling of electrical equipment, phase-change cooling is a kind of novelty promising method. According to the idea the thesis exploits environment-protection evaporative cooling medium, and carry through heat transfer experiment on the evaporative cooling transfonner model. Perfluorotriethylamine is fabricated through electrochemical fluorination of triethylamine in anhydrous hydrogen fluoride under a certain condition. It is a perfect evaporative cooling medium which possess good chemical inertia, thermodynamic stability, electrical performance, innocuity and noncombustion. Electrochemical fluorination process may be divided three phases that have different characteristics. Furthermore voltage, reaction temperature and amine mass concentration are important exterior factor which effect electrolysis. By analyzing the mechanism of boiling heat transfer and pool boiling, the model of evaporative cooling transformer, on the which pool boiling heat transfer experiment has been finished, was designed and made. From the experimental study, we gained ftinction curve of heat flux and surface excess temperature under the atmospheric pressure. It will provide the base of farther development in the future. The research provides a novelty way of developing a new type of cooling medium and evaporative cooling transformer, and has a certain theoretical and practical signification.
