The CSV (combined stepless variator), whose virtue included a throng of structure and high-power output performance and many possible locomotion effects, had become mostly development way of modern transmission technique. This paper deals with the connection of CSV diffluence-power and structure and a new idea of initiative design was performed and the CSV volume was optimize designed, the visualization technique was carried out to study variator components stress.Firstly, this paper introduces the structure and the essence principle of CSV, analyzes the physics essence of closed power in the system and confirms the connection between closed power and system parameter.Secondly, a new idea was performed about the CSV design. Used the bifurcated power theory, the difflunce performance for PX model CSV was studied. This paper performs an initiative design method which controls the system bifurcated power to confirm each part of system's drive ratio and construction, and can be referred by designing of the same type.Thirdly, the CSV volumes optimize was carried out. The mathematic pattern of optimize design was established and the target function and restrict conditions was confirmed. At the same time, the result had been compared and analyzed.Finally, the planet ring system's stress was researched. This paper introduced the development of the visualization technique and formulae was gained of stress in the gear, the different color was used for expressing the stress in the graph.
