The visualized input of geared linkage mechanism, and visualization simulation on structural decomposition, kinematics and force analysis were mainly studied in this dissertation.Based on basic composition of the mechanism and General Type Transformation Theory, the geared linkage mechanism was naturally decomposed by adopting the thought and technology of Object-Oriented. Firstly, the objects and classes required in analysis system of mechanism were determined. And then, data structure and classes grade were built up, the objects and the model of the software system were completed.Based on the contour and kinematical character of components such as gear, with Bonding Point Gear, cylinder, the algorithm of their graphics such as selection, rotation and extruding and the algorithm of intellectualized drawing of mechanism were given. Based on above, a graphic intellectualized system of planar links modeling and pairs definition of the geared linkage mechanism were developed, which can help us achieve the visualized input, automatic identification of structure information and automation of structure decomposition of the mechanism. For a geared linkage mechanism, kinematics and force analysis can be accomplished automatically according to the corresponding algorithm respectively. The concrete movement simulation of the mechanism was given out by using the graphs of mechanism. The mechanism graphics, the input of the parameters of simulation system, movement simulation of the mechanism and results of the kinematics and force analysis of the mechanism were congregated in different windows on a screen through visual interface, so that the user can observe movement of the mechanism from different arrangements though data Digraph at the same time.The force analysis models and the analytic solutions of the type transformation units of the geared linkage mechanism were given, the forceanalysis models were perfected. Kinematics analysis of the planar linkage which the active link don' t adjacent with the frame was realized by using kinematics inversion and kinematics transform. The algorithm of kinematics analysis of the planar linkage driven by hydraulic piston was given and its kinematics analysis was completed.Finally, with the tool of Visual C++6. 0, the software system was achieved through programming on the Windows Platform. The size of mechanism can be changed by modifying the parameters. The parameters can be saved during input and be input continually when the program was opened. The examples about analysis of the geared linkage mechanism and the planar linkage mechanism using this software system were given.
