The visualized input of the planar linkages mechanism and visualization simulation on structuredecomposition, kinematics and force analysis are mainly studied in this dissertation.Based on basic composition of the mechanism and type transformation theory the planar linkagemechanism is naturally decomposed by adopting the thought and technology of Object-Oriented. Firstly,the objects and classes required in analysis system of mechanism are determined. And then, data structureand classes grade are built up, the objects model of the software system is completed. Finally, thedefinition of all classes are implemented by adopting Object-Oriented programming C++.The model of graphics arrangement structure of the planar linkage mechanism is presentedaccording to the viewpoint of Object-Oriented. Combing structure information which the structuredecomposition required and considering the convenience of movement simulation, the system structure ofclasses on graphics system and suitable data structure are built up by using the technology of Object-Oriented-inheritance and polymorphism adequately. The algorithm of the graphics such as selection,rotation and extruding are given. Based on above, a graphics system of planar modeling and pairsdefinition of the planar linkage mechanism was developed, which can help us achieve the visualized input,automatic identification of structure information and automation of structure decomposition of themechanism. For a planar linkage mechanism, kinematics and force analysis can be accomplishedautomatically according to the corresponding algorithm respectively. The concrete movement simulationof the mechanism algorithm is given out by using the graphs of mechanisms. The mechanism graphics,the parameters of simulation system, movement simulation of the mechanism and results of thekinematics and force analysis of the mechanism are congregated in different windows under one screenthrough visual interface, so that the user can observe movement of the mechanism from differentarrangements through data or graph at the same time.In this paper, the kinematics models and the force analysis models for basic type transformationunits are integrated through unifying the definition of structure angle of S pair and modified the errors oftype transformation units occured in previous researches.Finally, with the tool of Visual C++5.0, The software system was achieved through programmingon the Windows Platform. The examples about analysis of the planar linkages mechanism using thissoftware system were given.
