Marine Traffic Simulation And Optimization

In order to enhance the safety of shipping traffic , increase the efficiency of marine traffic and to protect the environmental pollution , Vessel traffic Service (VTS) have been established in home and abroad in recent years . In general , before the establishment of VTS , the study of feasibility is conducted based on a great deal of observation and experiment , as well as lots of history data . And the marine traffic simulation is the most important technique as well.In this paper , the means to set up marine traffic data-base and the statistic characteristic of marine traffic are discussed first ,a marine traffic data_base which is based on Access is founded .Then an outline of shipping traffic flow simulation capable of reproducing ships' movements , which is object oriented , is described based on the discussion above ,and a data_base Marine Traffic Route Model is given . At last ,in evaluating the results of simulation , a method of fuzzy mode identification is shown , with the optimum project chosen herewith.
