| This thesis is based on the study of the patent "EMERGENCY DEVICE FOR SHIPSINK-RESISTING, ROLL-WEAKENING, OVERTURN-PREVENTING" ( ZL.96228263.4 ) and makes it more perfect. It minutely expounds, the construction, the function, the action principle and the auto-control system of the device. This device belongs to the ship's special anxiliary machine to ensure the safety of the ship in emergency. This device is composed of an air compressor, air bottles, two air stop valves, some check valves, an air extractor and air bags which installed on board. It is simple in instruction and is an one-set device serving many purposes. It is convenient for installation and useing. It can be folded and takes little capacity without affecting the seaworthiness. It is possible to make full use of the original equipment and make the ship have regenerative sink-resistibility. When the ship tilts seriously, rolls, or has the danger of overturning, the device can act automatically and rapidly to correct and weak the roll and prevent the overturn. The use of this device can effectively improve the steadiness, sink-resistibility, roll-weakening and overturn-preventing. |
