Starting with resolving air-pollution in big cities in our country, this paper not only illuminates technical and economic feasibility of diesel-engine two-Source heating (air conditioning) system, but also compares the advantages and disadvantages of several different heating (air conditioning) systems. Then the potential of the diesel-engine two-Source heating (air conditioning) system application is revealed. There are different problems in the current heating (air conditioning) systems. In the cogeneration system, heat and power affect each other, heating-pump heating (air conditioning) system can not satisfy the peak load very well. In order to solve these problems, Professor Zping Song brought forward the two-Source reversible style heating (air conditioning) system. The essence of this system is "cogeneration and one supply", i.e., on the one hand, the input of the energy system is fossil fuel, its productions are heat and cold, it has only one supply; on the other hand, the process of produce is cogeneration , power is consumed by the cold and hot water unit as middle production, and the cold and hot water unit produces the heat and cold. The machine style of two-Source heating (air conditioning) system can be various. In this paper, the system in which the machine is diesel engine is analyzed because that Diesel engine has the advantage of high efficiency, low pollution, convenient installation, high automatization level etc. At first, the feasibility of the whole system and the heating cost is studied. Then, the different affecting factors are analyzed. At last, the circumstances that how the factors affect diesel-engine two-Source heating (air conditioning) system, diesel-engine cogeneration system, heating-pump heating system are compared.
