In this paper,similar products system design Based on CBR technology is discussed.Product-cases classification net model is studied. Key features are abstracted from the product-case to construct case model. The case model contents,its expression and organization tactics have been discussed in detail. Rough Set theory is used to determine the importance of each key case feature. Based on the analysis of the fundamental problem of retrieving the product-case,this paper proposes parallel line tactic combined the cluster classification net. Similarity measurement method is used to retrieve the highest similarity degree case. The most similar product-case is modified by the use of son-case design modification in accordance with design task.In order to illustrate the main procedure of this design method,the more complicated application software system is founded to imitate practical precision casting products design. Product-Cases library is built by use of relative data model,which can be expanded. View retrieve interfaces are made in case retrieve. Pro/E is used to make 3D model.This design method not only can reuse mechanical product design resource but also can improve its efficiency and quality. It provides more intelligence than the traditional CAD.
