This thesis investigates through the case designs and analysis of the "863" National Science and Technology Project. Based on the discoveries and insights from the former studies of the project, this thesis presents an implementary mechanism of CBID (Case-based Computer Aided Industrial Design) system. The development of system is based on users'Requirement, behavior and Use Case.CAID (Computer Aided Industrial Design) and CBD (Case-Based Design) has been presented as an applied conception and effective method used in the whole processes of product design for some years. In last years, there are some ways to achieve the aim, such as using existing CAID software. As a new conception, CBID was founded on CBR and Use Case which are confirmed by User Requirement. This kind of implementary mechanism provides a effective solution towards other CAID systems.Based on the former cooperation with NC companies and the problems in developments, this thesis starts from User Requirement, researches Use Case and its expression on system functions, and realizes the system via actual techniques. Finally, this thesis provides the probability of system maintenance and expandability.
