With the quick development of the power electronic technology and power electronic device, The technology of speed control by frequency variation gets great development. As the application of technology of speed control by frequency variation, the devices of speed control by frequency variation are extensively used. To improve undergraduate course level and to promote undergraduate's understanding of speed control by frequency variation, the project completes theory research and practical design for the teaching and experiment device of speed control by frequency variation.Firstly, the thesis briefly introduces the basic technique of speed control by frequency variation, such as the motor's mechanical characteristic of speed control by frequency variation, the theory and microprocessor technology of SPWM control. Lastly, the thesis introduces in detail practically systematic designs of software and hardware of the device. The systematic analysis is applied for the main circuit, control circuit and control software of the device. The thesis involves a lot of special design of the device for teaching and experiment goal. As to it, the thesis is referable to engineer who is engaged in the relative development of teaching and experiment device.
