| With Design Standard for Energy Efficiency of Residential Buildings in Hot Summer and Cold Winter Zone carried into execution,energy efficiency in residential buildings becomes more necessitous. And,the energy consumption of windows occupies a majority of the one of the whole building. In this thesis,different types of windows and measures for energy efficiency have been introduced,including window frames,glazing,operation types and shading strategies,and their thermal performance.During this study,we employed Doe2IN,building heat transfer simulation software,to evaluate the electricity consumption of a residential building differently oriented in Hangzhou due to different window types and different shading strategies,based on which we can educe some conclusions about window design for energy efficiency of residential buildings in hot summer and cold winter zone. These conclusions can be supplied as references for architects and related people. |
