This means have the merit of high accuracy, good measuring repetition and big measuring range. CMM is a good equipment of RE and applied in the practice widely. To recover the original geometry parameter for our best is our tenet. How tb limit the error of RE and model fast and accurately is our advanced research content. This paper include mainly several research content as followings:1. We study mainly in aspect of selection of CMM probe, programming of measuring track, deciding of measuring mode and selection of measuring increment to reduce the measuring error. Especially we bring forward the settle project of identification and extraction of solid sample and precise orientation of different face position.2. The different way of curve fitting was introduced in this paper. We demonstrated with the imitation and experiment. Accordingly to exert the efficiency and accuracy of CMM at the most.3. We realized the measuring data cloud process fast and automatically and built the data process module. Consequently make the modeling conveniently and quickly. This function is realized with MATLAB and UG/Open GRIP.4. The theory and experiment of curve and face of NURBS were explored and validated by experiment.
