Based on investigation and study in die automobile assembly line electrizing engineering of CHONGQING CHANGAN Automobile Group Co., this paper studies linear programming theory and its application in Assembly Line Balancing Problems (ALB Problems).This paper firstly introduces linear programming principal theory and its arithmetic, then deeply analyses the optimizing of automobile assembly line balancing problems. Besides, linear programming mathematical model of ALB problems is established and a kind of heuristic arithmetic about ALB problems is given in this paper. As a result, it proves that the mathematical model and heuristic arithmetic of ALB problems arc efficient and feasible that the assembly line balancing application, programmed in Visual C++ computer language, is successfully applied to the automobile assembly line of CHONGQING CHANGAN Automobile Group Co.
