Coal boilers is and has been the major consumer of energy source and the serious atmosphere pollution in China. But it is important for energy conservation and environment protection to operate them in a more efficient and environmentally acceptable way. The article bases on technical improving practice and researches general energy conservation technology of low-capacity coal boiler, gas-fired boiler and FB boiler which were modified from conventional boiler, flue gas pollution controlling. At the same time, some remaking methods are put forward, includes: 1) , to popularize the widely feasible technologies such as tiered coal feeder, arch reconstruction, regulation comprehensively frequency conversion governor and energy conservation, to strengthen administration of boiler energy-saving and try to enhance the level of law-capacity boiler in China; 2) to strongly encourage the development and according application of FB with returning fly ash or various CFB for making full use of coal resources. CFB is characteristic with high flexibility, combustion efficiency, wide scope adjusting loader, pollution-controlling. The technology-improving of old boiler is feasible, economical and reasonable. 3) to develop moderately the boiler with electrical regenerator and the clear energy such as natural gas etc. according to the technology economic and resource condition; 4) to expedite the use of high efficient low cost unit in co-operation between the removal of sulfur dioxide and reduction of the fly ash. The Structure is saving investment, reducing operation cost, simplifying structure, making operation reliable.
