With the background of globalization and urbanization,the urban expansion in developed areas is commonly caused by the acceleration of urbanization. The city spatial evolvement is the easiest fact that can be observed. This kind of superficial phenomenon is the result of the interaction between the different internal momentums,in which the action of the marginal attribute can not be neglected. Through the investigation to the phenomenon,it is be found that there are three typical evolution modes of mid-small city (town) in ZheJiang province. The thesis summarizes these modes systematically and analyzes the generation,development,tendency of these modes. It can also be analyzed that the actions of marginal attribute in these spatial form evolution modes.
