The Programmable Logic Controller is industrial automation control system which has high reliability , rich function and flexible use. It has been widely used in industry. Networking of PLC technology will do great to accompolish changing single machine to pipeline automation, centralized control system to scattered system. This article do research on networking of PLC based on CAN bus and include sme Aspects as follows:1. Introduce the development tendency and application future of PLC,do analysis on shortage of traditional PLC commuication.2. Do research on PLC networking structure used in modern industrial control and expose it can't meet the command of high speed,realtime and mutihost in modern industrial control system .3. Aim at CAN bus and PLC 's speciality this article do research on structure and realization of networking miniature PLC .Develop CAN bus control card and interface used by upper PC and bottom PLC network4. Based on VC developing PLC ladder diagram program and simulation software and a set of control software for bottom PLC communication and real time control.5. With application to DXD serial automatic packer we authenticate the flexibility and meliority of networking PLC based on CAN bus.
