Cration Of The Spirit Of Place In The Morphology Of High-rise Residential Buildings

As an indispensable material substance and spiritual product, architecture greatly influences the living quality as well as the mental requirements of human being. High-rise residential buildings are one of the characteristics of the urban life, which embody the romantic aspiration of mankind to soar. To this day, with the accelerating booming of population and stringency in urban building fields, it is imperative to adopt high-density development for the buildings in the urban area. Thereof, high-rise residential buildings play a consequential role in the stage of metropolitan.In my investigation on the high-rise residential buildings, I introduce the concept of "Place" into the study. I combined this notion with it counterpart of conventional space pattern of china, and thus developed a novel space format which conforms to the special condition of our country. On this condition, I make out an idiographic frame on the space, speciality and the system of inner and outer spaces. This leads to a new space configuration with simpleness and interrelation, therefore probe into the possibility in the high-rise residential buildings of metropolitan. By comparing the relationship between the virtual design and the real urban resident districts together with its residents, I justified its adaptability and feasibility.
