Research On Conservation And Renewal Strategy Of Historic Buildings Based On Place Spirit

The process of urbanization has promoted the large-scale construction of buildings.While optimizing the supporting facilities,public transportation and life and production,it has resulted in the shortage of urban land resources,the disappearance of distinctive features and cultural connotations,and other phenomena.In this case,some historical buildings are faced with the dilemma of being demolished due to the dilapidated architectural form,aging structure and inability to meet the living needs of modern people.Historic buildings,as "living fossils" of cities,contain inestimable material and spiritual wealth.Therefore,any city should cherish its unique cultural heritage and protect the existing historical buildings.So,how to reasonably protect historical buildings,and at the same time renew and reuse them,so as to achieve sustainable development of buildings,so as to shape the characteristics of the city and let each city have its own "history card",which is a hot issue today.In the trend of the development of civilization,historical buildings,as the witnesses of the city,have rich historical significance and cultural value,and at the same time produce the unique place memory of buildings,that is,"place spirit".The focus of this paper is to deeply analyze the value significance and site characteristics of historical buildings,and to explore more effective strategies for the protection and renewal of historic buildings from the perspective of site spirit theory.The paper is roughly divided into three parts.The first part is to raise questions:discuss the research background,research purpose and significance,explain relevant concepts,sort out and summarize relevant research at home and abroad,clarify research content,and put forward research methods and framework.The second part is the analysis of the problems: the basis of relevant theoretical research,the analysis of the theories related to the preservation and renewal of historical buildings,the analysis of the site spirit theory,the sorting out of relevant cases and practical experience,and the definition of the feasibility and necessity of the application of the site spirit theory in the preservation and renewal of historical buildings.Then it analyzes the relevant elements of place spirit in the preservation and renewal of historic buildings and summarizes its role,which lays a foundation for the next step.Last part is to solve the problem: was a key part of the paper,according to the study of the theory of the above,put forward based on the place spirit of historical building protection and update strategy: the overall perspective mining place spirit,multidimensional strengthening place characteristic,and the whole process of building experience,through the protection of the public house again and update to carry on the case study,the conclusion and prospect.
