The Research Of OPC_based Monitoring And Alarming Software System Of Marine Engine Room

Firstly,the actuality and the development trend of software in marine engine room has been analysised,and then some problems of software in marine engine room are put forward in this paper,afer deep research to OPC technology ,a new OPC-based framework system is put forward in this article;then ,The author has created model for OPC server and designed it via using UML language, described the key function of it. Furthermore the author has realized some key functions of OPC server and offered some important steps;in the end, based on the characteristic of the monitoring and alarming system in marine engine room ,the author has put forward a new scheme of the whole system which is based on OPC technology,Furthermore the author has designed this system,discussed some methods through which the client side can call the server side easily, realized alarm and trend analysis functions.The idea which has beed forward in this paper has many virtues,such as high openness,easy expansibility,easy maintenance etc, besides which can realize "plug and play" function.This design idea accords with development direction of software,also accords with development trend of monitoring and alarming software system in marine engine room,which can keep ahead in this field.
