Application Research On Mechatronics Technology Used In CT Container Inspecting System

The container inspecting system is one of powerful means used to anti-contraband and anti-terrorism in modern custom. The merits of using the inspecting system can greatly improve the inspection efficiency and fulfill the duty without opening the container. Besides the traditional inspecting system, in this new type the rotary apparatus and CT image instrument are integrated, so the image quality and the recognition ability of the CT inspection system have been greatly enhanced.The application effect of the field bus technology and automation technology in the CT container inspecting system has been discussed in this paper. The main content of this paper include: a)the principle of operation ,the characters of process, the demand of control and the overall design for automation subsystem of CT container inspecting system; b)the application of field bus technology in the CT container inspecting system; c)the vector control method for high precise locating control of the rotary apparatus used servo-motor; d)the PID control method for locating control of the feeding apparatus; e)the realization method of the PLC control system based on the field bus; f)the malfunction diagnosis method used in mechatronics product, and the introduction of the human-machine interface.
