This paper establishs a integrated system about double circular-arc gears transmission design and optimal design using GO A language VB. Its emphases are visible design and inspect and measure of double circular-arc gears, and optimal design using crossing mesh optimal design program, it is the development of traditional design of double circular-arc gears. Speeding the course of design, shorting the period of development, advancing the quality of design.The double circular-arc gears CAD systems designed in VB language combines the accuracy and high speed operation abilities of computer, a great deal memory and manage data abilities ofcomputer and abundant chart dispose abilities of computer with creating thinking and colligating analysis ability and logical judge ability of human being. It is a tight cooperate system. And it evidently improve the reliability and efficiency and degree of automation. It makes the design very expedient, and its results are accuracy , compute speed is quick. So it is a good systems have currency and friendly interface. It offers a reasonable design program for routine design of double circular-arc gears. It has important meaning for expending the use of double circular-arc gears in works,and bring benefit in products.This paper makes the design and inpect and measure and optimum design of double circular-arc gears as a whole system using actual design methods and technology. For offstandard double circular-arc gears ,calculate its shape coefficient using its basis parameters of shape. So we can design universal double circular-arc gears. This paper designed the subroutine program of chart and parameter table. So every course can call public subroutine program on the basis of demand .The CAD system have validated by many applied double_arc gears examples ,and its error are very small.
