Computer Aided Process Planning Of Double Circular Arc Gears

Computer Aided Process Planning(CAPP) is used to generate process automatically by software that contains function of transacting information rapidly by computer and has multitudinous decision-making functions. This paper introduces an CAPP system for arc gear. The soft provided many fine functions, such as input of part information, generation of process route, detailed working procedure design, printout of machining process card, scaling dimension,hanging_gear,to advance the automatization degree of designing and manufacturing arc gear.And it is developed by adopting VB and ACCESS. The whole software is composed of four modules:, the scaling module, the hangingjgear, the process module. The three modules are independent ,moreover they are interrelated ,which make then arc-gear-CAPP is a whole process.
