Research On High Performance Cement Mortar

High Performance Concrete is a very popular key of research in structure material currently. But High Performance Cement Mortar is lack of much attention. In fact, cement mortar and concrete are very close relationship. Cement mortars not only packed the big engage in the concrete but also filled in its interspaces. We can say that the performance of concrete depended on it of mortar. No high performance mortar, no high performance concrete.This paper explains the difference between common mortar and high performance mortar. They details as follow: first, they are different component. Second, they are different w/b. Third, they are different structure. And they are different performance.When cement mortar mixed into PAE, its mechanics performance modified evidently. The major reason is the effect of polymer water-reduce, filling the space, and silica reaction. Additionally, PAE polymer and artificial sand was used in the research, the mortar products were convenient inpackage, conveyance and application. So this paper plays a basement role of a large industry produce of mortar.In this paper, with the aid of orthogonal method, a cement insulation mortar was studied. The results show the order of influence on compressionstrength and dry density is expended pearl, flying ash and mortar plastic agent. The good component is expended pearl 135kg, flying ash 70kg, plastic agent 3%, cement 290kg. This cement insulation mortar show compression strength 3.5MPa, dry density 650kg/m3, thermometer 0.11 W/(m · K).The research indicated that the high performance mortar and expended pearl cement mortar have excellent capability. And they also have wide applications in many areas.
