Series chamber is a new technology on the basis of the mature technology of solid propellant. It can improve the propeller's kinetic energy through rebuilding the existed guns. It is important to the weapons' performance improvement in our country. It is difficult to use experiment to learn the technology's interior process because of the experiment needs too many resources. In this essay, simulation method has been used to describe the new technology's characters and interior process, and the simulation result is valuable to the experimental works. The principle contents are as follows:1. After the general 140mm gun' s two-phase flow model has been established, the numerical simulation results is computed .The results are agree with the experimental results.2. After studies the 140mm series chamber gun's physical model, it's two-phase flow model has been established. The numerical simulation value of the two-phase flow model has been attained through MarcCormark method. In addition, the completed programming has been used to analysis the influence of main-depute powder proportion, ignition delay of depute power and plunger mass on interior performance.3. The simulation results between the general 140mm gun and the series chamber gun have been compared to describe the advantages of the series chamber technology. The result show, the new technology can improve propeller's velocity while not adding chamber's pressure.4. In order to make the research work convenient, a gun database has been established. It stores extensive information on interior ballistic. The database also can be used in other interior works.
