The Analysis Of Traditional Market Town's Texture And Integration Thoughts

Traditional market towns of Chongqing are the material carriers of people who have lived this area multiplied from generation to generation. It also reflects ecology of physical geography of this specific region and social historical culture at the same time. The market town's passages in different historical period interweave and superpose, then form the extant textures. They have recorded the rise and decline course in the market towns Today, the urbanization process is accelerated, a lot of historic textures are cut off Local-character, traditional cultural are lost because of this too. How inherit traditional texture, create modem market town with local-character, resume residents' identification with traditional market town have already become the outstanding problem faced in traditional market town. This thesis forms for the research object with the current situation of the traditional market town's texture. I have analyzed the material form and nonmaterial form of the market town in detail with two ways "simultaneousness" and"diachrony" and sum up the character of current market town's texture in this area.According to this character, I also have proposed corresponding measure to integrate the market town's material form and deep cultural intension in order to promote the rejuvenating of Chongqing's traditional market town. The full thesis can roughly be come to describe from three parts: The first part is 2na chapter. I have analyzed the background of current market town's texture in this part. firstly, I have expounded natural and social culture factors of this area which influence the material space environment, then sum up the character of the market town's overall space which has close ties of texture. The space background of the market town's texture made up of the tow factors above. The second part includes 3~nd , 4~th chapters. In 3~nd chapter, different space form, social function, reciprocity of inhabit form in different period have been analyzedwith "simultaneousness" and "diachrony". Inhabit form also make up of building colony,streets and lanes ,blocks. According to the analysis above, I have summarized the character of current market town's texture in this area. In 4~th chapter, I have studied the character of Tanghe market town's texture in order to further understand the character of traditional market town's texture in this area. The third part is 5~th chapter. In this part, I have proposed integration thoughts and concrete measures for traditional market town in order to reproducing it's vigor.
