After it, I study the cultural and social environment of Dayan by the introduction of the ethnologic structure, faith, traditional culture, regime, and folk-custom in this area, which set a background to the following discussion.Chapter three acts as the second part of the main body, which studies the internal forming mechanism of Dayan ancient town. In this chapter, I first point out that Dayan's external appearance is a result of the mutual efforts of politics, economy, religion and culture. Secondly, I analyze the evolution of Dayan, i.e. the main determinants of the town's development in different periods and their effects on the changes of the town's appearance. After it I explain Dayan's humanistic connotation and its evolution, i.e. the town's characteristics created by different types of culture.
