Along with the increasement of productive ability, continuousincreasement of city dwellers, and continuous improvement of people'slife level, it demand the better of water supply system. System's scaleis continuous expand and increasement of complexity. Consume ofelectric energy is very large in most city. Face complicated water supplysystem, it is important task how satisfy the needs of water flow, water presure and water quality, achieve better economic results and socialresults. Along with continuous progress of science and technology, continuous growth of mathematics programme, modern control theoryand computer, it powerfully promote the improvement of large systemcontrol and administer, it is possible that scientical administer bycomputer for water supply system.Along with the deepening of China's economic reform, the nationaleconomy is developing at an unprecedented rate, thus the dramaticallyincreased demand fOr proportionated water supply. Meanwhile, watersupply techini ques have evolved greatly.Among the most prevelent traditional modes of water supply are thatusing elevated water tanks and that using constant rate water pumps. Theelevated water tank mode is characterized by its comperatively high costfor fabrication and installation of water tank and increased heightrequired of buildings, which results in high capital investment. In the mode using constant rate water pump, pumps are putto run atfull capacity in all operation cycles, with no means for water flow rateregulation attached, incurring significant waste of electric power.Further to having the above demerits, these two modes still feature acommon problem of inconstant pressure at a given point in the pipeline. In other words, the water pressure is unstable and fluctuating. To cope with these problems, an economically rationalized stabilizedwater supply system is designed and introduced in this article, which isbased on a system model incorporating optimization control theory fOrdesign of minimized energy control system. The control sequencesfeaturing minimal energy requirement are defined and plotted out.Together with the above, a Kalman filter purposed for dispersedsystem is designed on the optimized estimation theory, which assureswell-based and reliable estimation of system variables, so that theoptimized operation of the entire system is well protected. In general, by utilizing observing instrument, estimates of systemvariable are obtained; and the minimal energy control system principle isused to control the supply pressure so as to attain the goal of economizedconstant pressue water supply. To the end of the article, a box diagram for a simulated system isgiven, which has passed programing test on computer.
