With the rapid development of economy and society, and the acceleration of urbanization, the urban population is increasing rapidly, the rapid expansion of city size, building height increased, the quality of life of people requirements, water quality is getting higher, people require the reliability of water supply systems, economic higher. This promotes the advancement and development of water technology. Past use of municipal water supply directly, direct secondary pressure pump water, has been unable to meet the needs of the new era, the unit owners and residents need to be higher and more stable water supply, water pressure constant, energy-economy system operation, high degree of automation, low maintenance costs.We analyze and compare recent decades representative of some of the water supply scheme, we put a modern secondary water supply system as the research object, we use the combination of inverter and PLC as the control device is designed to achieve a constant water supply scheme.We designed the water supply system consists of the inverter, PLC, pressure sensors, pumps, constitute the control system. Water pump speed control system uses flow control method using PLC centralized control pump operation. According to the pressure value with the water supply network in real-time feedback for each pump controlled by the PLC and cumulative frequency switching time job rotation, and according to the water pressure on the system in real time PID control, the parameter transfer to the inverter, inverter control pump operation frequency, thereby regulating the flow of water pipe network, and ultimately to make the water pressure to stabilize and save energy.
