At present, the reinforcement and reconstruction is being developed rapidly in the world and the focus of building industry is being transferred gradually. Strengthening with reinforced concrete cover is an economical and efficient method that is being widely used. The two-stage load of the reinforced concrete column with reinforced concrete cover involves two parts, one before strengthened and another after strengthened. With model test in laboratory, it is much difficult to imitate it. With development of science and technology of computer, as an effective method, computer-test was widely used in imitating and analyzing all kinds of complicated nonlinear proceeding.Full-range of loading to the reinforced concrete columns with reinforced concrete cover during second stage of loading is analyzed by computer-test nonlinear developed in the text, in consideration of the condition that they are not unloaded or partly unloaded. Based on the analysis, a simplified method is put forward in the paper to calculate the load capacity of cross-section of axially and eccentrically compressive RC columns with reinforced concrete cover. A theoretical calculation method is given to the practical engineering.
