Till now, the classical two-degrees-model is widely used in research work on vibratory roller, and roller-earth system is regarded as linear system. The limitation of this kind of model lies in one-grade absorber. In addition, the simplified linear roller-earth system can not really reflects real conditions. Because of the above consideration, the author puts forward one kind of nonlinear vibratory roller-earth system with two-grades absorbers and does some research work on simulation by means of the software-MATLAB. After analyzing the response curves of the system in the fields of time and frequency, imitating real working conditions, in which the coefficients of elasticity and damping will change correspondingly, the author finds that the movement is different from that of linear system. In order to deeply analyze the dynamical features of the nonlinear system, make sure the relationship between the movement of the system and chaos, the author does some qualitative and quantitative work. The qualitative work including: research the phase trajectory of the system,Poincare map,power spectral and auto-correlation. The quantitative work including: calculation of ratio of period,calculation of fractional dimension and coefficient of Lyapunov, especially ratio of period and the maximum Lyapunov exponent. The results show that chaos occurs in the movement of system.In the aspect of compaction meter, although many factories can manufacture many kinds of vibratory rollers that can meet the needs of industry, the compaction meter is fallen behind and the equipments produced cannot adapt to the needs of quick development of civil road construction. So it is hoped that one kind of economic and utilitarian compaction meter can be investigated, and this is also the starting point of the article. The article does some research on the in-vehicle compaction meter in detail. The author designs new circuit after analysis of hardware system of compaction meter. In the same time, the author compiles one set of software with friendly surface and embeds the function that can trains compaction by using neural network into the software system.
