With its upstanding energy saving performance and excellentenvironmental protection function, the Water Source Heat Pump (WSHP)technology has brought more and more attention to the domestic orinternational experts in recent ten years and acquired the substantialdevelopment in our country particularly in the aspects of actual applying. But there is still a lack of the fundamental data of its dynamiccharacteristic and its energy saving potential in our country. The match ofits parts and the type for engineering also needs much more accurateresearch. For these purpose a research for the WSHP is carried out withdynamic mathematic models and a detailed experiment. Based on mass, energy and momentum conservation law, the dynamicmodels of scroll compressor, evaporator, condenser and capillary areestablished respectively. Reliable model is established for thetransportation process of refrigerant. The model of heat exchangebetween the scroll compressor and the air is established firstly as part ofthe model of evaporator to make the heat pump model easy to resolve inthis thesis. The smallest WSHP unit in bulk and a laboratory for it aredeveloped and set up to verify the mathematic models. The mostadvanced instruments up to now in our country are used to collect thedata online. The WSHP unit only needs a small field and is convenient torun because it takes two plate exchangers as evaporator and condenser. Based on the dynamic mathematic models and the experiment, anenergy consumption model best fitting for the WSHP of full runningstatus is established with the help of Temperature Bin method for the firsttime. The Partial Load Factor (PLF) is considered in this model. Then theyear-round energy consumption analysis for the 10kW WSHP is workedout in two different running models and the comparison of economy andenergy consume is carried out between the water-source heat pump(WSHP) and the air-source heat pump (ASHP). The variety law of dynamic characteristics and energy saving areshowed up by the theory models, experiments and energy consumptionanalysis in this thesis. All these are significant in theory and practice forthe design & exploitation, engineering chooses and the further researchof Water-source heat pump.
