| Human civilization has stepped into the 21st century. In the past twenty years, China has made remarkable progresses in various fields after its reform and opening to the outside world. It is estimated that the urban residence construction in China has increased by 200 million square meters per year in the last twenty years in 20th century. As a result, china has been awarded"UN living Prize"for eightieth times and has won "The best Example of the living environment improvement"twice. However, during the course of the current urbanization of most cities , China mostly adopted a reconstruction way by only pulling down the old buildings and rebuilding the new ones, which has neglected the relationship between the diverse needs of the residents and the environment. More and more residents has moved into many new communities and have owned their new houses, while they have lost the feeling of living at home. On the other hand, some businessmen make their great efforts to enlarge the density and height of the new buildings in order to make greater profits from the lands, regardless of the surroundings and urban environment. Therefore, our cities have lost their distinctive features and the quality of the landscapes has become increasingly worse. The last but not the least, people has become more and more indifferent to each other and the relationship between neighbors has become less intimate. Such cold interrelationship between the residents has caused the decline of the social security.
