Good interaction between human activities is the cornerstone of building a har monious society,under the background of urbanization,the city scale has been grad ually expanding and the floating population has been increasing rapidly,good comm unication became the basic demand of urban population.At present,the community construction has not only confined to the reasonable allocation of material space res ources,in the community,the construction of material civilization and spiritual civil ization have been given more and more attention of people at all levels of society.Harmonious and livable urban community is a collection of social background,cult ural background and physical space,this article selects Baotou’s city community as an example,from the perspective of the community to explore the optimization stra tegy in urban outdoor contact space,trying to explore the deep connotation between the residents’ activities in Baotou’s city community,so as to take its advantages,s hed its disadvantages to provide reference for community construction in the future.In this article,The paper will state the formation and development of communi cation space in Baotou’s city community.Taking time as the axis,the paper expoun ds the historical and cultural background of the urban community development in B aotou City and analyzes the organization of the communication space.At the beginni ng,this paper based on the construction of unit system community in Baotou City during the "first five-year period" period,and with the today’s market economy lead ing commodity community in the end,the design features of Baotou’s City communi ty andneighborhood community are analyzed in the aspects of planning layout,road structure,spatial scale and landscape greening.Comparing the excellent case of do mestic and international community communication space,The paper analyzes the s ame anddifferent points of outdoor communication space in Baotou City community.Combining with Baotou City community residents activity attributes and the a ctual case of community research,The paper summarizes the characteristics of urban com munity communication space in different construction periods of Baotou City.Basing on the status quo,and making the social,cultural,open space and space environme nt as the main content,this paper expounds the influence of the spatial design chara cteristicsof urban community outdoor communication on the spiritual level of the residents in Baotou City.Based on the vertical axis of time,the article states the urban community deve lopment history of Baotou,laterally comparises urban community communication sp ace in different periods of the organization of communication space,it also mainly aims at three aspects,including the front door space,the group space and the spa c e sequence,space scale,and humanistic landscape in the center of the community t o carry on the analysis,cooperating with the public service facilities layout of com munity life and communication space of the two relations.I hope it can provide th eoretical reference for the community construction in the future.
