With the increasing quantity of our country's vehicle, contradiction in supply and demand of traditional vehicle's fuel becomes the more obvious and the pollution of city vehicle's exhaust also becomes the more serious. Fuel cell electric vehicle is the basic way and the most realistic measure for improving tail gas pollution. The research of Electric Vehicle is regarded as the background and it is with the Fuel Cell Electric Vehicle as the reseach object. It launches the research of the PEMFC engine control system, which is the high performance microprocessor as the core, adopting CAN filedbus fibre communication, establishing reasonable control strategy and intelligent control arithmetic. A new kind of fuel cell engine control system will be developed. Main research achievement is as bellows:According to the performance which Fuel Cell engine must reach, the architectural structure of the Fuel Cell Electric Vehicle is studied. The fuel cell engine hardware system of control system with the embedded microprocessor as the core is realized. The development and design of Fuel Cell engine hardware platform, interface module and monitor module have been finished. At the same time the Fuel Cell engine control system should have certain anti-interface ability.The design of the software of the control system has been finished. Based on the DSP software research platform, used C language and assembler language programming, it is realized the design of the whole software. With the function of the software, it is divided four parts, which is initialization module, A/D sample module, control strategy module and communication module. Each of the module is independent mutually, which is convenience to programming and-debugging.The research of the control strategy of the fuel cell engine has been finished. According to analysing the different work states under the different work mode, combining special application situation of the fuel cell engine, aiming at control request, a set of control strategy and method which is fit for fuel cell engine is proposed.The algorithms research of the fuel cell engine have been launched. Discussing the basic PID control algorithm in control system of the fuel cell engine, pointing out that the control system of the cooling water of the circulation is key and difficulty in system of fuel cell. Fuzzy-PID control algorithm is introduced to realize the high precision control of the cooling water of the circulation. Results show that the system has better control effectiveness.The hardware design and software design of engine control system of fuel cell have been finished. Adopted the appropriate control strategy, an electric vehicle with fuel cell engine has succeeded to be assembled. After tested by practice, it has met the basic technical request of Dong Feng auto corporation and has formed the embryonic form of applied Fuel Cell engine control system.
