Subject to oil reserves and environmental pressures, new energy vehicle has become an inevitable develop trend. With its unique advantages such as clean, environmental, energy conservation and efficient, fuel cell is considered to be the best drive power of the next generation. So, developing fuel cell electric vehicles (FCEV) becomes a hot topic in the current international situation. This paper studies the measurement and control technology of FCEV. The main contents are as follows:Firstly, introduced the structure of the power system of FCEV, analyzed the characteristic of the main parts such as fuel cell, lithium battery pack, DC/DC converter and so on. On this basis, analyzed the requirements of the measurement and control system, and formulated the overall program of the system.Based on the overall program, proposed modular design ideas, Visual C++was used as front stage developing tool and Access as back stage database. Upon the analysis of the requirements, the measurement and control software was divided into three modules, including communication module, database management module and test module. Dynamic and static link library technology was used to realize the communication with hardware platform, multi-threaded was used to realize the requirement of real-time communication. DAO technique was used to create the database and save the real-time data, ADO technique was used to inquiry the historical data. Based on the structure of the dialog box, a friendly interactive interface was designed.Program design of the forward and backward emulation was realized. The backward emulation completed the drive cycle simulation. The forward emulation collected the pedal signal to realize the driving simulation. Analyzed the model of the vehicle as well as the major components, emulated the model and showed some results.The study of the measurement and control system for FCEV provided a reliable platform for system control, performance test and drive cycle simulate. It also provided great support for the rational design of electric vehicle power system.
