The two rows small-size concrete hollow block mainly solves problems of secondaryfinish, it may reduce the damage brought about from making the hole; besides, twoor many rows small-size hollow blocks have better thermal characteristic than thesingle row hollow blocks. To a certain extent, this can embody further more thedemands of energy conservation. Due to the small hole in the two rows block can notbeen set up the core columns, setting up the constructional columns become the mainstructural form in these buildings. In order to study on the seismic behavior of thissystem, the thesis carries out the experiment of 12 specimens under the cyclicloading. In the past, the experiment of concrete hollow block wall usually used thesingle row hollow block to lay and the specimens were scale models, this experimentmakes use of two rows small-size hollow blocks and the specimens are full-sizedmodels. We acquire the data of the load carrying capacity, stiffness, ductility andmeasurement of energy dissipation etc. At the same time, we analyze failurecharacters and hysteretic behaviors on the basis of the experiments. The majorfactors of the experiment are listed as following: the influence of restrictingconstructional columns at the boundary, the influence of different type of the blocks, the influence of vertical compression force, the influence of core columns orconstructional columns intercalated in the middle parts of the wall etc. Finally theexperimental results have been analyzed and been compared with, the suggestionsare induced and brought forward. It is shown that the specimen with restricting constructional columns at the boundaryand other measures have good seismic behaviors.
