With the rapid development of science technology and society, the improvement of people’s living standards, people have more and more demands of vehicle riding quality, therefore, reducing cabin noise and vibration and improving vehicle comfortable has been an important issue of the designer. Isolation characteristics of engine mounting system has great influence on vehicle comfortable. Optimizing of engine mounting system of some national car is studied in this paper. This paper analyses the isolation characteristics of engine mounting system and its effect on vibration of full vehicle. The following four subjects are mainly studied.1. In this paper, based on a large number of references about the study of engine mounting system at home and abroad, the developing history of mounts is reviewed, including rubber mount and hydraulic mount. This dissertation summarizes some design principle and research result for the engine mount system.2. Using K $ C test bench obtain quality parameters of powertrain, Using elastomer test bench 831.5 obtain elastic parameters of the rubber engine mounting, In the vehicle coordinate, measuring installation location and angle of each point of engine mounting.3. Using software UG and ADAMS to build up a space dynamic model with 6-Degree-of-Freedom(DOF).Making the rotational properties(stiffness and damping) of bushing be zero, then the elasticity component can have three stiffness and damping. Using ADAMS/View and ADAMS/Vibration to simulate and analyse the model when working in stabilize state, Using software MATLAB to calculate the natural frequency of the engine mounting system, which is compared with simulation data to verify the correctness of the model. Then using software MATLAB to decouple optimization analysis of engine mounting system;4. Using software LMS Test.Lab to test the prototype car’s noise and vibration. Also tested the dynamic stiffness of the engine mount bracket. The noise is too large in uniform conditions, I get a reasonable improvement program. Research the effect of powertrain mounting system for riding comfort on the transmission path.
