The original design of "VIEW HIACE" motorcar does not satisfy the Highway Safety Code CMVDR 294 of P.R.C. Thus, Improvement design on VIEW HIACE's frontal crash was explored in this research. In view of its feasibility, the improvement design, especially the sheet-metal shell, must differ little from the original one.Through 3 turns of "sample car crash experiments-improvement design puts forward by theoretical analysis-computer simulation to validate- accessory and components experiments - sample car crash experiments", which conducted in collaboration with the National Key Lab of Automobile Safety and Energy Economy in Tsinghua University, the frontal crash security of VIEW HIACE was improved in a short time. The sample car crash experiment shows that the improvement designs fulfill the requirement of Highway Safety Code CMVDR 294.
