A workshop with single storey is one of the most common structures in our country. It is common that the solution depends on the skilled technical personnel who get information on the site and make the evaluation in accordance with "the Standard of Workshops Structures Reliability Assessment" (GBJ144-90). In addition, some problems exist in the process of assessment, such as the difficulty of the word, the lack of original blueprint and information of the workshops structures. Furthermore, the assessment has its own feature and has its own theory to be researched.To solve the mentioned problems, this essay combines several methods to analyze many factors in details, which impact on the reliability. Such as Fuzzy Mathematics, the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP), the standard of workshop structures reliability assessment. The essay makes a Fuzzy Comprehensive Evaluation ranging from every component to the whole workshop system and draws a conclusion on the reliability of one-storey workshop.The essay sets one-storey workshop as an example, but it makes use of Expert System and the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) to replace the traditional method. Based on this ideology, the new assessment system of reliability will have extensive prospect in practice.
