Research On The Spatial Layout Of City Development Increment In 2000-2003, Hangzhou

No one can resist the charm of Great City. But urban sprawl takes it away from everyone except the few who are lucky enough, or rich enough, to live close to the largest centers.From time immemorial, Cities are always the banner of the mankind's civilization. The healthily perpetual development of cities is the issue that we should take in consideration. Research on the structural layout of city is a "physical check-up" for the city. It benefits on healing the "city illness".The thesis is divided into six chapters.Chapter one begin with a problem that city planners would encounter when compiling the Master Planning of city, analysis the phenomenon of lack relations between the development and planning ,adopt the data of "permit of development" ,then present the concept of "Unit Block Analysis", and bring out the "real-time tracking" to the city development, and then, demonstrate the feasibility of this approach.The second chapter reviewed a summary of related researches and practices in this field domestic and abroad And then, there follow the history of evolution of the city structural layout in Hangzhou..The third chapter presents the theory and method of "Unit Block Analysis" model.In the fourth chapter, we will do the statistical analysis to all 3337 projects in past four years. With the model of " Unit Block Analysis " , we try to explore the logic of city development from two aspects: spatial layout of city-land increment and the structure of each type of city-land in "Unit Block".In chapter five, we explore the impulsive system to the increment of city-land development in 2000-2003 ,Hangzhou. And present some problems which occurs in the phase of city development.Lastly, we have some conclusions of all analysis. And bring forth the advanced research topic theorily and practically.This thesis is intent to provide the primary data-materials and try to have a exploration fundamentally.
