With the development of computer science and the requirement of traffic simulation, traffic micro-simulation has become the research hotspot. It is one kind of traffic analysis techniques to reproduce the dynamic process of traffic flow. It can be used to research the traffic system behavior being planned, select the best planning project, forecast the actions of traffic system under different conditions. It's good at dealing with the complex queue process, which affects and reacts each other. Especially, traffic simulation can provide a flexible and efficient laboratory analysis tool, which can satisfy a wide range of requirements such as the studies of damages or dangers of traffic system, new traffic technologies and concepts testing, personnel training and etc.This paper focuses on modeling car basic driving model based on the TSIS, developing corresponding simulation software system, testing the veracity of BDSim model, simulating and analyzing the status quo and the improving projection of Xudong intersection with TSIS. A model architecture being made up of vehicle generation model, network model, traffic management and control model and car driving model (car-following, lane-changing and event reaction model). Under the framework of model architecture, the kernel car basic driving micro-simulation models are developed. According to the characteristics of time-slice scan simulation, kernel models can provide flexible description of vehicle driving behaviors. Judging process and reaction time incarnate the subjective reaction of driver. Two seconds lane-changing can inosculate with the real conditions perfectly. A vehicle basic driving micro-simulation software system-BDSim(Basic Driving Simulation) is developed, which is tested by TSIS. Complete the simulation of Xudong intersection of Wuhan city with TSIS, analyze the simulation result detailedly and put forward the corresponding improving project to the existed problem.
