The Intelligent Heat Energy Meter And Its Automatic Meter Reading System Based On Geotheric Air-Conditioner

The two problems obsessing globally sustainable development are energyconsumption and environmental issues, which are also the strategic focus of ourcountry in terms of economy. Excessive energy consumption causes environmentalproblems. Thus, energy conservation in buildings is a very important issuenowadays. One approach to do this is the adoption of energy cost allocation, whichstimulates the initiative of building residents to saving energy by the rule of "usingless, paying less". The calculation of heat has continuously been a difficult problem in the heatingsystem. The traditional method of collecting fees by the space of rooms leaves muchto be desired. In order to solve this problem, a new type of intelligent heat meter andthe remote automatic reading system are presented in this paper. The whole systemis composed of three parts: a intelligent heat meter, a concentrateor and a personalcomputer. With the first part, the correct value of heat can be obtained by means ofmeasuring the rate of flow and the temperature of hot water. Furthermore, themeasurement result can be sent to the administrative center through the concentrator.The PC in the administrative center is in charge of data-collection andfee-management. It has been proved that, executing energy cost allocation in centralheating/cooling system is benefit to building energy conservation and also has greateconomic and social effect.
