According to different functions, the system is divided into collector and PC management system. In order to improve the operation efficiency, choose 32-bit ARM of S3C2440 chip as micro controller. Collector module also include storage circuit, LCD display module, wireless communication module and GPRS module. Wireless module and a water meter wireless module to communicate with each other, and connected to the serial port of the S3C2440 to transmit data or command, LCD display module allows users to view their own water meter data. Wireless module to collect water meter data and save it to the ARM control main board of the storage system, and then use GPRS module to send data to the PC management center. On the PC side, according to the actual use requirements, the management system is divided into four function modules: account management, payment management, system management and remote management, using Qt technology, combined with database technology and based on the MVC pattern to develop the management software. In addition, according to the actual data transmission of meter reading system, formulate a set of complete data transfer protocol.After the system test, each function module can normally function, achieve their goals. System can realize water meter data collection and transmission, the PC can display the related test data, for PC sends commands at the same time, the collector can perform the corresponding operation.
