Along with the expansion and development of power system and voltage grade,more higher demand is put forward to microcomputer-based protection。Moreover,the rapid development of the microcomputer's technology provides essential condition for improvement of the microcomputer-based protection's performance.This paper presents a design scheme of high performance microcomputer-based protection based on DSP technolog and states its structure of software and hardware and its performance with details. Besides,this paper makes some theory reasearches on microcomputer-based protections,introduces a new kind of phase-selecting scheme and verifies its effectiveness and reliability;Establish the fuzzy set based on modulus component,three phases and residual current,which can distinguishing unbalance faults from power swing rapidly and reliably.
