The Design And Implement Of The Automatic Updating System Of The Electronic Chart Compliant With S-57

The thesis mainly discusses the design and implement of the automatic updating system of the electronic chart, based on the International Standard of Electronic Chart such as S-57 and the Chinese or English Notices to Marine, by use of the database and internet technology, to ensure the validation and reliability of the data used by ECDIS. The thesis, consisting of Data Generating Subsystem and Data Release Subsystem, not only perfects the domestic ECDIS, but only greatly better to ensure the navigation security and contribute to the internationalization of the domestic ECDIS.According to the character of the system, the dissertation includes the following six parts:Charter 1 introduces some fundamental conception about ECDIS including ECDIS definition, development, standard procession and the chart updating, gives the signification of the automatic updating system and the basic design.Charter 2 analyzes the characteristic of ER data in S-57 standard and the data of Notices to Marine for the storage of the ER data.Charter 3 researches the organization management system of chart data and designs the storage structure of ER data and introduces the corresponding idea.Charter 4 introduces the function of the data editor and several methods to deal with the pivotal question in the editor.Charter 5 researches the characteristic of WEB technology. And construct the WEB server by means of JSP/Servlet technology and implement the net share of the ER document.Charter 6 makes a summary of the thesis.
