PrefaceWith rapid development of automotive industry, the consumers have higher requirement to the comfort of automobile. More powerful technology and methods meet them. One of the newest technologies about design and product is Virtual Prototype Technology. It includes multi-body system dynamics, method of calculation and software engineering so on. It uses software to build 3-dimension body model and dynamic model, to analyze and evaluate system performance, and to provide reference parameter for the design and product of physical prototype. Using machine system simulation software to simulate system movement in kinds of fictitious environment, it can expediently modify blemish of design on the computer, simulate species of design project, continuously improve on the whole system, till acquire the best design project, and then produce physical prototype. Compared with common design methods, Virtual Prototype Technology has some virtues. Such as to confirm the key parameter earlier, to renovate prototype design course, to make the design period shorter, to knock down cost, and to improve quality of manufacture.The vibration absorbing systems of automobile include tire, suspension and seat. Investigation in that, depressing air pressure of tires and reducing vertical stiffness can be propitious to improve ride comfort. But with depressing air pressure of tires the distortion of tires will increase, and influence these used lives. For the automobile suspension, with propriety reducing suspension vertical stiffness and increasing damp that could increase improve ride comfort. But changes of suspension stiffness and damp will influence stabilities of control and braking, and these capabilities which contrary with the require of suspension parameter have little space to change. The change of seat dynamic parameter have no influence on other used capabilities, and produce easily, period shorten and effect rapidness. So there have importance sense of improving ride comfort, to study and increase seat dynamic capability.The software ADAMS, which developed with multi-body system dynamics, is the most fashionable and authoritative software in the field of mechanical dynamics simulation. The digital model is defined as product 100% digital design using the integration technique of CAD/CAM/CAE. When building models in ADAMS, in traditional way, we need many parameters, such as the center of mass, inertia parameter values, and so on. In order to acquire these values, we must do many experiments or calculations. It wastes time and human power. Using digital model, we can offer the needed parameters. In this thesis, we build 3-dimension digital model in UG software, then translate it into ADAMS through the format Parasolid and other methods. The transfer between multi-body system dynamics and digital model is realized, and then we can use multi-body system dynamics technique to study the digital model.The contents of this paper are based on the projects of 'the study of some machine suspended seat dynamic comfort '.Main ContentsIn chapter 1, based on reading large literature, the internal and external status of seat dynamic comfort is investigated. To summarize seat dynamic comfort, standard of estimation and methods. To introduce the static, dynamic and handled comfort of seat. And then to analyze influence factor each other.In chapter 2, to introduce the basic theory and correlation technique about seat dynamic comfort. To summarize the conception, origin and develop, applying of Virtual Prototype Technology. The internal and external status quo of multi-body system dynamics research is investigated, research and development methods, up-to-date achievements and developing trends of multi rigid body system dynamics and multi flexible body system dynamics are discussed, and the concept of digital model, and the computer simulation theory and common software ADAMS are introduced.In chapter 3, introduce the preparative tasks with the deeper understand of digital model.
