In the course of constructing the interval tunnel of metro with shield tunneling method, single lining assembling plan is popular currently,and it mainly consists of straight joint and staggered joint method. The change of assembling plan will inevitably affect the mechanics behaviour of the segment gravely. The paper adopts model test, numerical simulation and field test to study the mechanical behavior of the segment under different assembling plans.Based on the section tunnel with shield tunneling method in the first phase of Nanjing Metro, the model test is carried out. Its geometry similarity ratio is 1:12 and the bulk density similitude ratio is 1:1. Full similarity controlling all physical and mechanical parameter in the scope of elasticity is realized. The mechanics behaviour of the segment under straight joint assembling, staggered joint assemblying with 22.5 and 45 is researched through the model test.A beam-spring model is applied to study the mechanics behaviour of the segment under straight joint assembling, staggered joint assembling with 22.5 and 45 by using numerical simulation method.The mechanics behaviour of the segment under staggered joint assembling with 45 is researched by fixing measure instrument in the field shield tunnel. The mechanics behaviour of the segment under different assembling plans is gained by synthetically analyzing the results of the tests and simulation.
