Residential Green Space Theory In Beijing Urban-Rural Fringe

With the rapid progress of urbanization, Beijing urban-rural fringe has become more active, sensitive and complicated, which is different from the urban area on the character of the area. And the age structure of people and the fashion of making use of residential green space are also different in urban area and suburb. As a result, the space structure of suburb residential green space is different from that of urban city. Some residential districts in Beijing urban-rural fringe are chosen to be researched. The thesis is based on questionnaire survey as well as theoretical analysis. Residential districts in urban area and suburb and suburb park were surveyed respectively.With the comparison of two groups of data for suburb and urban area, the thesis has three conclusions. First of all, on the base of urban-rural fringe macroscopically, a symb i ot i c ecosystem should be established between park space and residential green space and between residential green space in suburb. Secondly, on the base of the whole residential green space in suburb, residential green space in suburb should be programmed to be natural, harmonious and economic. Especially, the parking lots and small garden in suburb should be planned perfectly. Thirdly, on the base of detailed planning of residential green space in suburb, the space of neighborhood space, children playground, sports playground and parking lots should be planned reasonably based on the character of mental ity and people making use of space. In conclusion, residential green space in suburb should be planned on the base of the character of suburb residential district.
