On-line monitoring information system for main equipments of traction power substation is important to the railway power supply departments' routine operation. The system is helpful to establish rational maintenance plan, estimate the service life of device and carry out the state maintenance. At present, the research of on-line monitoring has become a hot spot to railway power supply management. The information system integrated by device catalog, routine operation and on-line monitoring information has become a tendency of railway power supply modernization management.Based on the technique of on-line monitoring and information management, connected with the practical application, the paper mainly stressed on the on-line monitoring information research of main equipments in traction power substation. It realized the integrative management including device catalog, routine operation and on-line monitoring, which plays an important role in the standardization and mformationization of traction power supply routines and supplies the decision-making for the technician and leaders.On the basis of the analysis of the foreign and domestic research of the on-line monitoring system, the paper concerned with the traction transformer, breakers and mutual transformer, discussed the arise of gas dissolved in the transformer oil, on-line monitoring method to the transformer, the theory of dissolved gases analysis and the service life estimating of breaker. The paper stressed the on-line monitoring of the hydrogen and water dissolved in transformer oil, switch state of breaker and winding fault of mutual transformer. Furthermore, the paper realized on-line monitoring information system of main equipments of traction power substation. As a subsystem of Power Supply Management Information System, it has applied into practice after software debugging at last.Object-Oriented Programming is used in the system and the advanced distributed multi-tier technical structure is applied. The system is friendly and easy to be extended.
